Growing Up in Hawaii Carissa Moore was born on August 27, 1992. Growing up in one of the world’s best surfing locations, she had easy access to world-class waves. Her father, her supportive father, introduced her to surfing at just a few years old. Together they spent long hours practicing. These early experiences helped develop her technique.
